Professional Logo Design Service: concept to execution

Our concept for the logo services was worthwhile.  Our professional logo design service must feature some unique aspect which should stick everyone who sees it.  Our professional logo service design should be some thin, sleek, and abstract giver, or a style of animation character type of an image.  It should not be way too literal, but it must also should be restricted; nothing much louder, nothing much cute.  It must have the ability to evoke emotions without going over the top along with a classic design having perfect aesthetics.  It could be on the basis on a family culture, a Mon, or based on an approach just like those taken to the visual effect and be successful by Chipotle and Starbucks: circles (concentric) along with an icon right in the center and the name must be surrounding.   It should, therefore, be a color which is bold and should be balanced. Probably a bit of variation on red, and it must not be monotonous. It should put an effort to look like eye-catching and memorable as well.  It must be able to become an iconic image.

That, more or less, and all over the duration of several hours, was what we were to explain to our designer named Misa Grannis when we met in person with her for the very first time.  We gave an invitation to Misa over for dinner so we could obviously get to firmly know each other, and so also we could define to her who really we are, where we are coming from, and what really our motivations, as well as goals, are for the customers.  Our point of view is that better we all understand and know each other from the very first outing, the better we all can work in partnership towards the common and main goal.  To meet our designer here in their habitat which was native, too is a very important part or aspect of the background.

When Misa display us carrying her personalized copy of the book of Japanese Mon seals, it confirmed us our expectations and foresee that she really would know exactly what this work or project is trying to achieve.  Also, did I define that her real initials are MSG?  The perfect person for this type of perfect project.

Round One

Misa took the guidance, went far away for a week or two, and then she returned back with the whole collection of prototypes.  She displayed us two to three dozens of ideas in a kind of exercise for brainstorming, the objective of that was to arrive at terms on the exact direction we desired for the project to accumulate.

One idea we really liked was a Shiba's face. It was rounded in a circle and parted into two so that the half towards the bottom was too a bowl-related to ramen. This idea was represented both the ramen and the Shiba, and it definitely was quite streamlined.  It was really cute, but not very much so. The second idea came was Misa's trial to infuse a Shiba into the mitsudomoe mon.  And the 3rd came was an S-shape which was meant to suggest the flourish of the ship's separated tail.  We came to a conclusion not to carry on ideas which appeared way too traditional.

Round Two

Misa arrives back two to three weeks later along with a set of refined ideas.  She would hone the Shiba (the bowl) idea and that S-shape, and had developed a better improvement to the Mon, that now displayed a sharp sort of design hiding the shiba’s ears and tails.  However, she too brought a new design which was bold using a stylish Shiba set in a place like a surrounding square.

We were very excited about this type of new contender and asked Misa to apply for some tiny refined work.  We also suggest her to give a try a few color and text differences on the Shiba or bowl.  We were of an opinion that the Mon was really not in fine shape for this point in time.  We made a decision for the S-shape, while easy and elegant, just was not the significant look we were looking for.  The goal now was to refine the bowl or Shiba and also the silhouette square, then examine them alongside with the Mon.

Focus Group Exercise (Non-Scientific)/Expanded Rumination or Decision
Once Misa arrived back along with her further refined work, we kickoff taking a poll of friends in an informal manner along with our coworkers.  I displayed around three ideas to 40 to 50 people and seek their point of view; I have a fair idea that Misa alongside Hiroko also conducted some polling.  Roundabout 45 percent favored the Shiba or bowl and 45 percent pick the silhouette.  10 percent or less favored the Mon; most opined that it was much abstract and not really making a connection with it.  I also liked the Mon, but I also agree it does not make a sense like the others.  We set aside it very quickly (I would although love to utilize it on any t-shirt at my store).
It was down now to Shiba or bowl and the most favored silhouette.  The Shiba/bowl had really been the first frontrunner, but a humongous minority of blokes imagined it was a cat, provided the shape of the ears, the circle of the front of the face, and the chopsticks were suggesting the whiskers.  It completed as of that this was really a hard problem for which we had to find the solution. Especially the reason of the roundness related to ramen bowl restricted to our capability to narrow down the face.

But only by letting some time to pass, it also was simple to make up our mindset.  Upon reflection, towards silhouette, our hands were down to the best overall design, and it also fits most with our idea.  The silhouette also was the clear pick for the Shiba Ramen.
